Who is à La Cart Catering?

We are a full service, off-premise catering company. We have been satisfying the surrounding communities for the past 35 years.

Do you provide servers and bartenders if needed?

Yes, we have very knowledgeable and attentive staff available for an additional charge.

How much notice do I need to book an event?

We ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours notice prior to your event. We will however graciously accept the last minute food request.

Do you have a minimum number of guests you cater for?

We are happy to cater to as few as 10 guests and still be able to make your small intimate gathering an affair to remember.

Do you do theme parties?

Yes, we would be happy to help make your theme come true.

Is there a fee for delivery?

Delivery and setup is free for any local order of $150.00 or more. For all deliveries under $150.00 and/or outside our local delivery area, a delivery fee will be assessed.

What forms of payment are accepted?

All payments can be made by credit card, check, cash or ShopRite gift cards.

Do you offer linens, china, flatware, and glassware?

Yes, contact us for pricing information.

Is there a set standard gratuity for services?

We feel that gratuity is best left to the customers' discretion.

Are chafing dishes available?

Chafing dishes are included with all of our packages.

How do I know that my order was received?

One of our catering specialists will personally contact you when we receive your order.

What if I want to change or cancel my order after I send it?

You need to contact a catering specialist directly at 856-216-7182.

Is there a cut off time for online ordering?

Yes. All next day orders must be placed by 3:00pm the day prior in order to ensure that your order will be fulfilled. If your order is for a future date, please feel free to complete it online at any time.

What do I do if it is after 3pm and I need a food order for the next day?

Should you need to place an order after 3:00pm, please contact a catering specialist directly at 856-216-7182 between the hours of 3:00pm and 5:00pm. Unfortunately, we can not guarantee that we will be able to fulfill any catering request left on our answering machine.

Will I be charged sales tax?

Yes, sales tax will be applied. The current rate of sales tax in New Jersey is 7%.

What should I do if I need a delivery for the same day?
